This is the Privacy Statement (also called: Privacy Statement) of Stronger Foundation working under the name Stronger Social WorkIn order to serve you well and to carry out our work as efficiently and effectively as possible, Sterk sociaal werk processes personal data.
Stronger social work considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Your personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us. You can count on your data being safe with Stronger social work and that we adhere to the applicable legal regulations.

In this Privacy Statement, you can read which personal data we process from you, for what purposes, who may view your data, how we store your data, to whom we pass on your data and what influence you can exert on this yourself. What is personal data?
Personal data are all data that can be traced back to a natural person, which is you. Personal data can include: your name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address and request for assistance. We obtain this type of data from you when, for example, you fill out a form, send a letter or e-mail, or call us. Also when you visit one of the websites of Sterk sociaal werk, you provide us with personal data in some cases, for example in the form of an IP address or a cookie.
At the moment that your personal data is shared with Sterker sociaal werk by yourself or by a third party, we process it. The meaning of the term processing is broad and includes: collecting, storing, consulting, deleting, using and providing data to third parties.

Whose personal data does stronger social work process?
We can process personal data of all persons with whom we have contact, or who visit one of the websites of Sterk sociaal werk. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?
Sterk sociaal werk is responsible for part of the data processing. The responsible party is the one who formally and legally decides whether and, if so, which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in what way.
However, Sterk sociaal werk is not the controller for all data it processes. There are situations in which Sterk sociaal werk performs work for clients and processes data in that capacity. In that case, Sterk sociaal werk is the processor.

What does Sterk Sociaal Werk use your personal data for?
Stronger social work may only process your personal data if we have a legal basis for doing so. The legal bases for processing your personal data are:
- your consent;
- the processing of your data is necessary for the performance of an agreement;
- the processing of your data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
- the processing of your data is necessary to combat a serious threat to your health; and
- the processing of your data is necessary in view of the interests of Sterker sociaal werk, whereby your interests do not prevail.
Stronger social work processes your personal data for the purpose of efficient and effective business operations, in particular in the context of providing person- and group-oriented support.

How does Stronger Social Work handle your personal data?
Careful, safe and confidential. This is how we handle your personal data. To this end, Sterk sociaal werk has drawn up a policy document.
Supervision of the processing of personal data
The rules for protecting your personal data are laid down in the Personal Data Protection Act, which has been the General Data Protection Regulation since 25 May 2018. The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) ensures that this law is complied with.

Safe
To protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your data, Sterker sociaal werk takes appropriate technical and organizational measures. The following measures apply:
- Stronger social work appoints a data protection officer to monitor whether we handle personal data securely
- All personal data we store is sent securely and stored with certified suppliers
- The employees of Sterk social work have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- The social professionals are registered in the professional register
- Stronger social work is a certified institution and regularly checks whether the certificate is still applicable
In addition to securing the systems, we also want that not everyone within Sterk sociaal werk has access to your data. The systems in which customer data is stored are therefore only accessible to a select group of employees for whom it is necessary to perform their work that they have access.
We take security measures to prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.
Reporting incidents/data leaks
If it unexpectedly turns out that something has gone wrong with the protection of your personal data, or we suspect that this is the case, we will report this to the AP. If the breach of your personal data may have unfavorable or negative consequences for you, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Confidential
We assume that your data is always confidential in nature. Every employee of Sterk sociaal werk is therefore obliged to maintain confidentiality. This also applies to third parties hired by Sterk sociaal werk or otherwise appointed to perform work. Persons charged with performing technical work on our systems are also obliged to maintain confidentiality. In short, everyone who has insight into your data is charged with a duty of confidentiality.
How long do we retain your data?
Stronger social work does not store your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which your data is processed and than is legally permitted. How long certain data is stored depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed. The storage period can therefore differ per purpose.
Providing to third parties
We expressly do not provide your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement, if this is legally required or if you have given us your permission to do so.
Stronger social work may also be required to provide personal data based on legislation or regulations, based on a ruling by a competent court, or in the event of fraud or abuse. If this is the case, Stronger social work will provide its cooperation.
Transfer of your data to countries outside the European Union
Stronger Social Work will not pass on your data to a company or branch in a country outside the European Union unless a model agreement has been concluded for this purpose or when you have signed a statement in which you give permission for the transfer.

Personal contact with stronger social work
Many contacts between you and Sterk sociaal werk are by telephone, via forms, e-mail or social media. Personal data that you provide in this process, we record if this is necessary for our services.
Contact in different ways

Access to your data

Right to rectification
You have the right to rectify data if your data is incorrect or incomplete. You also have the right to rectify data if the data is not relevant for the purpose for which we process it, or if your data has been processed by us in violation of a legal provision. We will inform the third party(ies) who received your data from us of any rectification, unless this is impossible or requires a disproportionate effort on our part.
Right to erasure
In addition, you have the right to have certain data deleted. How can you exercise your rights?
If you wish to exercise your rights, you can contact us via privacy@sterker.nl or by sending us a letter, with your name, address and telephone number. We will respond to your request within one month. We ask you to identify yourself, using a valid proof of identity. This way we can check whether we are providing the personal data to the right person. Excessive requests regarding the provision of information may be rejected by us. Excessive requests are when, for example, you approach us more than average and necessary with requests for information.
