Welfare visit

At Sterk Ouderenwerk we find it important that you know in time what support is possible for seniors in the city. Because with the right support, enjoyment in your day and a safe living environment you can keep going at home longer. A welfare visitor can tell you everything about practical help for seniors in Nijmegen during a home visit.

During a Welfare visit, a volunteer from Sterk Ouderenwerk will visit you at home once. The volunteer will talk to you about a list of topics: how are you doing? How are you coping in daily life? What do you need to continue doing everything yourself? The welfare visitor will provide information that is relevant to you. And if necessary or desired, the welfare visitor will refer you to a senior citizen advisor, An informal care consultant or a neighborhood sports coach.

A letter for all 80, 85 and 90 year old seniors

Every resident of Nijmegen who turns 80, 85 and 90 will receive a letter from us about the possibilities for support for the elderly in Nijmegen and the offer of a Welfare Visit.
