Meal service

Providing a hot meal every day: shopping, cooking and cleaning up. Is that not so easy anymore? Then our Meal Service Nijmegen (formerly called 'Tafeltje Dekje') is the solution. The meals are prepared every day with fresh seasonal products. We tailor the menu to your wishes. And we take your diet into account. Your own trusted volunteer delivers the meal to your home.

Meals at home; easy, fresh and healthy

The chefs of Hofmans Catering cook the 'table-dekje' meals every day. They cook as much as possible with local seasonal products. Do you want a meal every day or just once a week? No problem! Volunteers of Sterk Ouderenwerk in Nijmegen will deliver the meal to your home.

Eat whenever it suits you

The meals are prepared the day before and immediately packed and cooled. This way they are definitely fresh. You heat up this fresh meal at home in the microwave. This way you decide when you eat.

Dietary requirements

The meals are prepared with as little salt as possible and seasoned with herbs. Are you a vegetarian or do you have special dietary requirements? That is no problem. We can create a custom menu for almost all requirements.

Menu choice

When you register, you choose the days on which you want to receive a meal. You also choose whether you want a 1, 2 or 3-course menu. Every week you will receive a new menu list, tailored to your wishes. You can choose from various dishes via this menu list. Do you have a diet or are you a vegetarian? Then we will automatically adjust your menu list to this. If you do not make a choice from the menu list, you will receive the standard menu. The standard menu changes every day.

Meal service Nijmegen; always a familiar face!

Our volunteers deliver the meals to your home 6 days a week. Is it a problem for you to accept the meal at the door? Then the meal deliverer will put the meal in the kitchen for you. Your regular deliverer will come by every time to see how you are doing. That gives you a reassuring feeling.

Costs

  • main meal €7.80
  • main meal plus soup € 9.30
  • main meal plus dessert €8.80
  • main meal plus soup and dessert €9.95
  • surcharge large portion € 2.00 (extra vegetables or potato product)

You pay Hofmans by direct debit.

Do you have a low income? Then apply for a compensation to the municipality of Nijmegen.

Cancel a meal

Are you already a customer and do you want to cancel a meal? Then call 'the Hofmans meal telephone' from Monday to Saturday, telephone number: 024-3586076. You can cancel the meal for the next day until 10:00.
