Do you want to move a cupboard? Hide cables? Remove a threshold or hang a bracket? Install an outdoor lamp or smoke detector? Or finally hang that painting that has been in a corner for so long? The Klus Service volunteers of Sterk Ouderenwerk are happy to help you with small jobs!

Our handy and experienced Klus Service volunteers help you with simple jobs in and around the house. They also give tips to make the home safer or more comfortable. In this way, they ensure that you can continue to live independently more easily and safely.

For whom?

• U bent 65 jaar of ouder en kunt niet zelf meer klussen
• You live independently in the municipality of Nijmegen
• You do not have the financial resources to have this done by a professional
• You don't have people in your own network who can help you

What handyman assistance does the Handyman Service offer?

• Woningaanpassingen (zoals beugels plaatsen, drempels verwijderen, belsignaal versterken)
• Reparatiewerkzaamheden (zoals kraanleertje vervangen, gordijnrail ophangen)
• Eenvoudige elektraklussen (zoals contactdozen repareren, lamp verwisselen)
• Diverse kleine karweitjes (zoals waslijn ophangen, rookmelders plaatsen, tochtstrippen aanbrengen)

The volunteers of our handyman service do no gardening and no major maintenance, such as painting, wallpapering, moving or adjusting sanitary facilities. They also do not go to the bulky waste.

Costs

A job always costs €6.00 for the first hour of work. If the job takes longer, you pay €3.00 per extra half hour. You pay by means of a one-time authorization. Materials that have to be purchased specifically for your job, you settle directly with the volunteer in cash.
