At Deel de Dag you will find conviviality and the activities give structure to your day. Together with other seniors from the neighbourhood you share your day. In a pleasant, homely atmosphere there is plenty to do.

Who is Share the Day for?

The day care is for Nijmegen seniors who live independently and need structure in the day and conviviality. Professional supervisors and volunteers work with you to ensure a pleasant day. By participating in Share the Day, many participants also feel more like doing things on other days. View this movie to get an impression of our day care.

Varied range of activities

Deel de Dag offers a varied program. From outings to dance lessons, from virtual cycling to cooking together, from creative activities to singing, a game or just drinking a cup of coffee. Together with the supervisors you make a plan to fill your days pleasantly, based on your wishes and possibilities. At noon you eat together. You can also have your hot meal from Sterk Ouderenwerk delivered to the day care. View this movie to get an impression. (At that time there was a separate group for people with a migration background; nowadays diversity at the locations is the starting point.)

In addition, there are locations with a special character:

• Day care for elderly people in the Dutch East Indies
  At Deel de Dag Grootstal there is Deel de Dag for Indian seniors every Wednesday. On this day there is extra attention for Indian culture.

• Share the Day Art and Culture – focus on personal development
  Share the Day Art and culture is especially for seniors who want to learn new things and develop themselves. The activities are focused on expressions in the field of art and culture, gardening and green and digitalization (the use of tablets and smartphones and experience with VR glasses).

Costs

You pay a monthly contribution for Deel de Dag. Lunch is included. The amount depends on the number of days you come.

Contribution per number of days in the week:

• 1  dag kost € 10,50 per maand
• 2 dagen kosten € 21,00 per maand
• 3 dagen kosten € 31,50 per maand
• 4 dagen kosten € 42,00 per maand
