Do you have questions or problems using your computer, tablet or smartphone? Volunteers from Sterk Ouderenwerk are happy to help you on your way!

Arranging business on the computer

Nowadays, you can and must arrange more and more things via the computer. Do you find this difficult or do you need some help with the first steps in the digital world? Volunteers from Sterk Ouderenwerk are happy to teach you how to use your computer or install an app on your mobile phone. They can also teach you how to search the internet or show you around on your tablet.

Contact with the outside world

In addition, the digital support worker can teach you how to transfer digital photos to the computer at home or how to keep in touch with the outside world by making video calls or using WhatsApp.

Relaxation

Perhaps you would like to learn Scrabble, puzzles or cards on the computer? The volunteer will be happy to come to your home for that too.

Terms and Conditions

  • You live in the municipality of Nijmegen
  • You are elderly or have a disability and live independently
  • You have no people in your own environment who can help you

Costs

For Digital support at home in Nijmegen you always pay the first hour €6.00. Every subsequent half hour €3.00. You pay these costs by one-time authorization. If materials need to be purchased, you settle this immediately in cash with the volunteer.
